City Guesser FAQ

Quick answers about the game format, data sources, and asset policy.

What is City Guesser?

City Guesser is a U.S. map game where you place a marker for each target city and then compare your guess with the verified city point.

How is the City Guesser score calculated?

Each round is worth up to 5,000 points. The closer your marker is to the target city, the more points you keep for that round.

Can I zoom before placing a city guess?

Yes. Rounds start on the full U.S. map, and Region or State view is player-controlled so you decide when to zoom closer before guessing.

Does City Guesser use map screenshots or city photos?

No. City Guesser uses self-drawn SVG map views and curated representative coordinates, not street-view imagery, satellite imagery, copied map screenshots, logos, or third-party city photography.
